Bianca Trevino
Artist
Starting my artistic journey in 2011, the desire to create art that I attained soon became an unyielding obligation to myself to explore the inner mechanism of my creative consciousness. From small sketches to large scale projects, my art is a highly-personal reflection of myself and my life. I’ve been lucky enough to have live and created across 6 continente where I have participated in many collaborative projects, as well as exhibiting in a solo capacity. If you would like to find out more about my process, get in touch.
PROVIDING WOMEN A DIGNIFIED WORK
Women in West Africa are taught to hand produce beautiful leaf fabric, and are provided with a fair wage. We not only see beautiful products emerging, we see broken lives being made whole.

We offer you three colors: Green, Natural, and Mustard
Natural is the real color the teak leaf gets when dry. Green and Mustard are colored with natural, chemical-free pigments
A group of women who believes in slow-fashion, we call them ´artisans´. These lovely ladies pick-up dry teak leaves, steam them, soak them again, hand place them on a flat marble bed, press them, and then water-proof them to create Leaf fabric to later use to hand-made our products.
To make our products as environmentally friendly as posible we only use ethical and renewable fabrics like linen and hemp for the interior. Based on our nature each products is unique and might differ slighty on the color you see on your screen.
A percentage of every sell is donated to Elephant Conservation.
WHO MAKES THEM?
WE USE TEAK (Tectona grandis)
Botanic
A member of the mint family reaching heights of 150 feet, the striking teak tree is found throughout much of Southeast Asia. Beneath its scaly bark is a strong, dark gold wood that turns deep brown when exposed to air and sunlight. Teak is known for its ability to withstand the elements, as well as its resistance to decay and termites. Young trees have reddish leaves that turn green with maturity.
Habitat
Teak is native to India, Myanmar, Thailand, and Indonesia. It grows best in fertile, well-drained soil and warm, tropical climates where it receives plenty of sunshine. The species depends on pollination by insects—mainly bees—for survival. Can also be founf in Africa, and Mexico.
